I started working out with TamFit in July 2020 after trying to exercise on my own for about 6 months with no results. I had a 1 year old and really wanted to get my body back to the way it was before. I joined the Fall Challenge in August, started working out 5 times a week and followed the advice of Laurie our nutrition coach. At the end of the 2 month challenge I was down 12 lbs and went from a pant size 6 to size 2. I couldn’t believe the results in such a short amount of time. I am now 5 months into the TamFit program and have lost a total of 16 lbs and a lot of inches. Andrea provides great support for her fitness program with advanced and modified moves as well as constant motivation and accountability which I needed. With the support of Laurie for nutrition and Andrea’s guidance with fitness together they have provided great results! I feel great, confident and stronger! This is a great team to be a part of and I am so happy I took the leap of faith and joined. Best decision ever!
I am so happy that my friend introduced me to Tamfit. Andrea is so passionate about fitness and it shows. I am not a lover of working out and now I am doing it at least 5 days a week. Andrea has a way that just makes you want to get up at 6 am and sweat it out with her. Her energy, motivation and dedication to fitness is contagious. The classes fit into any lifestyle. If I can’t make the live classes I can access the recording at a time that best suits my day. I have been noticing a real difference in how I feel, my back pain has diminished and I have made a huge change in my eating habits, making healthy choices and craving healthy foods over junk food. Andrea is an amazing, motivational trainer. Her virtual classes have been a great way to keep fit – and sane – during covid isolation. They are so much more than a recorded workout could ever be. You get the accountability, someone watching and pushing you the entire time, but there is also the personal touch – the comradery from the other women in the class. And all from your own home! Highly recommended!
It has been about 3 years since my complete lifestyle change has made me the person I am today. Even though I studied nutrition and physical fitness, eating healthy was something that seemed only for those who were training athletes. It wasn’t until my children got older, I realized my body was not the same and I wanted to get back to what I used to be. However, looking back at photos of what I looked like in my 20’s, I noticed that I didn’t want that body back, I wanted a body that I always dreamed I would have if I worked hard and made time. My good friend Andrea was following her passion of becoming a fitness trainer and motivator and I jumped on that opportunity. I did a few classes and I got tired, unmotivated and went back into my shell of feeling it was too hard. Even though Andrea would message and call to get me back on track I just felt like it wasn’t going to happen. One day I finally took the plunge of actually looking at myself in the mirror and realized this was my time. I started to eat healthy, working out with TamFit and 3 years later I am in better shape than I was in my 20’s. Andrea continues to be my rock, my inspiration and of course her amazing classes keep me motivated and they are incredibly addictive. Thank you Andrea, becoming part of the TamFit team has given me new hopes for my future!
I always hated going to the gym, always made excuses about not having time and also felt self conscious about working out around other people, which is why the zoom workouts made it easy for me to join. I have an almost two year old which makes time for myself even harder to come by. Andrea offers classes in the early morning or evening and you never have to leave your house. I love the early morning workouts, I wake up and do them from the comfort of my home and I feel amazing and energized the rest of the day. She also pushes you to do your best and holds you accountable to show up and do the work. If you can’t make a class she sends you the recordings which is super convenient. I recommend trying a free class and giving her-and yourself a chance!
When the pandemic hit and my gym closed, I was looking for something to keep active, when I came across Tamfit. I was never a person that enjoyed working out from home and found it hard to stay motivated. Andrea changed that. Minimal equipment, maximum results. Right off the bat I loved Andrea’s energy and the program, there are many classes to choose from, and I could do recordings if I couldn’t make a live class . I joined the July summer challenge and thats where I met Laurie and received nutrition coaching. With both Laurie’s highly personalized plan, and Andrea’s workouts, I was able to lose 10 pounds, many inches and gain a ton of knowledge on how to fuel my body correctly. I love all her meal ideas, and her live cooking classes were a lot of fun. Laurie teaches you a lifestyle rather than diet. Both Andrea and Laurie are great at keeping me accountable, with weekly chats and checkins, it’s very personalized, and that’s important to me. Thank you Andrea for making working out fun, and bringing together such a great community of ladies. I look forward to continuing on with Tamfit, getting stronger and reaching my goals.
Starting Tamfit back in July was the best decision made. Andrea messaged me and said why don’t you try a Strong by Zumba class? Once I did I never turned back, started her challenges and starting seeing changes in my body.. fast forward 6 months later I have learned how to fuel my body with proper nutrition that’s where Laurie comes into play and train like a beast!!! I may sometimes do 9 classes a week because I truly enjoy exercise and how it makes me feel, my body has gone through so much in the past year and I’m happy to say that I’m loving my body but still not done. I gave myself a year to be where I want to be and I’m pretty sure I will get there with the help of Andreas kick ass classes and Laurie’s nutrition!!!! I have lost many pounds, many inches buy boy did I ever re gain back my confidence and strength.
I started Tamfit classes in June 2020 and at the time I started out with 2 -3 classes per week and didn’t change my diet at all. I have been a member of a gym for years and fitness has always been a part of my life, but with NO results! In September I decided to join the challenge which included nutritional coaching from Laurie and WOW my life has changed. With the nutritional component along with 4-5 Tamfit classes per week, I’m happy to say that I have lost 15 pounds. It took me 3 months to achieve this and I know it’s because of the accountability and support I have received from these two incredible women. I feel great and I have so much more energy and clarity. The classes have not only helped me physically but more importantly mentally. My body and mind feel great and I’m much happier and more productive in everything I do. I really don’t know where I would be right now if I didn’t jump on this very convenient opportunity to work out in the comfort of my own home. The community of women is an added bonus and just makes everything about the classes more fun. I am so happy I made this decision!
Weight has been a struggle for me for a very long time…. I actually can’t remember the last time when it hasn’t literally “weighed” on me on a regular basis. I have tried many different kinds of diets and exercise regimes and although I have had success, it never seems to last.
When I decided back in August that I wanted to try a class with Andrea, I was definitely ready to make a change. My mind and body were fully invested and I was ready to not just diet or exercise but to make a LIFESTYLE change for myself and for my family. I was tired of feeling tired, sluggish, lacking energy, making unhealthy meal and snack choices and most importantly of feeling “weighed” down. With all that has happened this year in the world and in my own life, this was a change I could make within my own control and I was ready!
Joining the Tamfit family has changed everything for me! When I started in August, I loved Andrea’s positive energy, humour and drive, it’s infectious! Made me want to show up and try my best and give every workout my all. The beautiful, brave and wonderful women in the Tamfit family motivate me and make me feel connected to other women who share the same goals and healthy mindsets. When Andrea and Laurie announced the Fall Challenge there was not a chance that I wouldn’t sign up for it and invest in myself in the best possible way! Andrea was there to push me and make me feel stronger each and every class and Laurie provided the support and education I needed to get on the right path for nutrition and developing a positive relationship with food. There was no turning back and I am fully committed to living life healthy and holistically surrounded by people who make me feel like always being the best version of myself! I have more energy, I am seeing changes in my body that make me feel proud, I feel stronger and I am so happy! I am becoming the best version of myself and I wholeheartedly believe being part of the Tamfit family has helped me achieve this – one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself! And the bonus, I’ve lost 37lbs.

She has a variety of classes to choose from that will appeal to anybody. It’s so convenient having online classes in the comfort of my home. I’m so excited to continue crushing my fitness goals!
