I started working out with TamFit in July 2020 after trying to exercise on my own for about 6 months with no results. I had a 1 year old and really wanted to get my body back to the way it was before. I joined the Fall Challenge in August, started working out 5 times a week and followed the advice of Laurie our nutrition coach. At the end of the 2 month challenge I was down 12 lbs and went from a pant size 6 to size 2.
Andrea is an amazing, motivational trainer. Her virtual classes have been a great way to keep fit - and sane - during covid isolation. They are so much more than a recorded workout could ever be. You get the accountability, someone watching and pushing you the entire time, but there is also the personal touch - the comradery from the other women in the class. And all from your own home! Highly recommended!
It has been about 3 years since my complete lifestyle change has made me the person I am
today. Even though I studied nutrition and physical fitness, eating healthy was something that seemed only for those who were training athletes. It wasn’t until my children got older, I realized my body was not the same and I wanted to get back to what I used to be.
When the pandemic hit and my gym closed, I was looking for something to keep active, when I came across Tamfit. I was never a person that enjoyed working out from home and found it hard to stay motivated. Andrea changed that. Minimal equipment, maximum results. Right off the bat I loved Andrea’s energy and the program, there are many classes to choose from, and I could do recordings if I couldn’t make a live class .
Starting Tamfit back in July was the best decision made. Andrea messaged me and said why don’t you try a strong by Zumba class? Once I did I never turned back, started her challenges and starting seeing changes in my body.. fast forward 6 months later I have learned how to fuel my body with proper nutrition that’s where Laurie comes into play and train like a beast!!! I may sometimes do 9 classes a week because I truly enjoy exercise and how it makes me feel,
I started Tamfit classes in June 2020 and at the time I started out with 2 -3 classes per week and didn't change my diet at all. I have been a member of a gym for years and fitness has always been a part of my life, but with NO results! In September I decided to join the challenge which included nutritional coaching from Laurie and WOW my life has changed. With the nutritional component along with 4-5 Tamfit classes per week, I'm happy to say that I have lost 15 pounds. It took me 3 months to achieve this and I know it's because of the accountability and support I have received from these two incredible women. I feel great and I have so much more energy and clarity. The classes have not only helped me physically but more importantly mentally. My body and mind feel great and I'm much happier and more productive in everything I do.

I feel so blessed to have met Andrea nearly two years ago when a friend of mine brought me to her studio. Since then, I have never looked back. Having tried every form of a ‘gym’ in Vaughan - from circuit training clubs to boot camps, from big box fitness centers to clubs with outdoors spas and pools nothing motivated and encouraged me more than the beautiful group of women at TamFit.
It has been six months since I joined the wonderful Tamfit Family and I couldn't feel happier about my decision. Before joining, I would have regular chats with Andrea about how I would fit exercise into my busy life and the fact that I lacked the energy to even begin working out. When you start out, it truly feels like you are facing Mount Everest and you don't know how you will ever make it to the top! Well, I finally bit the bullet and joined with much encouragement from Andrea and a fellow Tamfit friend. I really enjoyed the workouts and even though they were very challenging, it was Andrea's constant support and positivity that pushed me through each workout. She is the BEST!! Throughout the past six months, I have proudly made it to 6-7 workouts a week and worked with Laurie on nutrition.
I started taking Andreas classes in April 2020. At first I found it as a great outlet from “quarantine life”,
but soon the classes became a part of my daily routine. Andrea is so motivating and made the classes so
accessible, easy and fun. I never thought I would be the person to workout 4-5 times a week, but I
quickly looked forward to taking either the early morning or evening classes, sometimes 2 a day!
In July I started the fitness challenge with Andrea and Laurie, and I lost 17 pounds feeling so great
physically but most importantly mentally. They both provided the support and motivation I needed. It
was a great sense of accomplishment. Laurie’s recipes quickly became family favorites that I still
incorporate in weekly dinners.
I am so happy that my friend introduced me to Tamfit. Andrea is so passionate about fitness and it shows. I am not a lover of working out and now I am doing it at least 5 days a week. Andrea has a way that just makes you want to get up at 6 am and sweat it out with her. Her energy, motivation and dedication to fitness is contagious. The classes fit into any lifestyle. If I can't make the live classes I can access the recording at a time that best suits my day. I have been noticing a real difference in how I feel, my back pain has diminished and I have made a huge change in my eating habits, making healthy choices and craving healthy foods over junk food. I always hated going to the gym, always made excuses about not having time and also felt self conscious about working out around other people, which is why the zoom workouts made it easy for me to join. I have an almost two year old which makes time for myself even harder to come by. Andrea offers classes in the early morning or evening and you never have to leave your house. I love the early morning workouts, I wake up and do them from the comfort of my home and I feel amazing and energized the rest of the day. She also pushes you to do your best and holds you accountable to show up and do the work. If you can’t make a class she sends you the recordings which is super convenient. I recommend trying a free class and giving her-and yourself a chance!

Scotty is a construction worker by day and a fitness trainer by night. He is a certified Personal Trainer and Kickboxing instructor that brings a great energy to both our men’s and women’s classes.
Fitness has been a passion of Scotty’s since 2014 when he was on his own fitness journey through lifting weights, running and eating right, he lost 80 pounds.
Online virtual classes are 60 minutes long, offered via zoom and led by a certified Trainer who tailors the plan to YOUR fitness goals.
Our programs run bi-monthly meaning you need to commit to a 2-month membership to ensure you are able to reap the benefits. All sessions are live via zoom. Class types, schedule, times and zoom details are all available on the TeamSnap App.

Yes, at this time, we offer online Personal Training only. Please refer to packages and contact Andrea for details.
You should wear clean, comfortable workout attire, including but not limited to, t-shirts, shorts, tights, sweats, and/or tracksuits. Athletic shoes must be functional and supportive. Workout gloves are optional.
o Cardio Kickboxing – Combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio and strength moves. This high-energy workout challenges both the beginner and the intermediate athlete. It is designed to build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility and burn calories as you build muscle with this fun and challenging workout.
o Lower Body, Upper Body and Full Body Strength – These training classes use a variety of different equipment (dumbbells, chairs, steps, barbell) which will contribute to your workout by building strength, get lean, toned and develop coordination and balance.
There are a variety of classes available for all fitness levels from beginners to intermediate to advanced. Our women are between the ages of 30 to 55.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Adults aged 18–64 should doat least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity throughout the week or do at least 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity throughout the week or an equivalent combination of moderate – and vigorous-intensity activity.
If you miss a live class, no problem, all classes are recorded and available for 72 hours.
